Aya is a board-certified neurofeedback (BCN) technician, mindfulness-based stress reduction practitioner, researcher, and qEEG diplomate candidate. She holds a master’s degree in biology with a concentration in neuroscience and is dedicated to advancing the field through innovative research and non-invasive training approaches.
Aya is passionate about empowering individuals to take an active role in their health by integrating neuroscience, mindfulness, and holistic care. Her work focuses on bridging traditional treatment models with emerging approaches to create individualized strategies that support optimal brain and overall well-being.
At TrueBearing Academy, Aya serves as a senior mentor and research collaborator, working closely with Dr. Brown to advance the TrueBearing Method. She played a key role in developing the TheraQ Comprehensive Database Project (TCDP) and co-developed the Comprehensive Survey of Expressed Traits (CSET), tools designed to integrate EEG data with clinically observed traits to support more precise assessment, protocol development, and outcome tracking.
